Top DraftKings Values + Stacks: Week 4

Welcome gamblers, fantasy football players, and magic aficionados on this beautiful, chilly, Autumn morning. My house smells like pumpkin spice and there are fall themed decorations every where. This is my fiancee’s favorite time of the year. But it should be all of your favorite times of the year as well because we are escaping the “Vegas Zone” where gamblers lose the most money because of how weird the first three weeks of the season can be. We act like we know everything, but, truly we don’t know anything. Fear not Jon Snow… winter is coming!

It’s time for our top DraftKings plays, values, and stacks! Plus our Vegas Line picks and teasers.

Quarterback:

Touchdown Trevor is totally terrific!

  1. Trevor Siemian, Denver (vs OAK), Cost $5,200. Value: 3.2

We actually have a tie this week between “Touchdown Trevor” and Blake Bortles. Both are ranked high due to their great matchups, but Siemian takes the cake on the tie-breaker of not being Blake Bortles. Siemian has had an amazing season so far and even though he had a clunker last week, Buffalo’s defense has made life miserable for every team they have played. He accounted for 7 touchdowns through his first two games (1 was rushing), and now the Broncos are at home against a very porous Raiders defense. The Redskins dominated the Raiders last Sunday night and the Broncos are much better than the Redskins. Siemian has played better at home in his career than on the road, posting a Y/A almost a yard better, with a higher percentage of touchdowns per game. He’s no sleeper though, almost everyone I know is in on Siemian but with his cost he’s a must play.

2. Blake Bortles, Jacksonville (@ NYJ), Cost $5,300. Value: 3.2
3. Deshaun Watson, Houston (vs TEN), Cost $5,100. Value: 3.0
4. Matthew Stafford, Detroit (@ MIN), Cost $6,000. Value: 3.0
5. Tyrod Taylor, Buffalo (@ ATL), Cost $5,300. Value: 2.9

Tyrod seems to always make an appearance in our top play lists. Falcons secondary really isn’t that good. Wouldn’t be surprised to see Taylor put up 16+

Running Back:

Buck Allen is no chicken. More like a cow bell.

  1. Javorius “Buck” Allen, Baltimore (vs PIT), Cost $4,700. Value: 3.1

Buck hurt us all last week, but, it was still a quality play. Ravens just got manhandled and they weren’t in a position to the run the ball in a thumping against a really good defense. His price was deflated this week because of that. His value based on his projection (point per cost) is in elite territory this week against a young Steelers defense which got thrashed by an injured Jordan Howard last week. Ravens are home after the London Massacre, and they will be motivated to show why they are playoff contenders here. Look for Buck for touch it 20 times, break 100 yards, and a score.

2. Mark Ingram, New Orleans (MIA), Cost $4,600. Value: 3.0
3. Todd Gurley, Los Angeles Rams (@DAL), Cost: $7,800. Value: 3.0
4. Lamar Miller, Houston (vs TEN), Cost: $4,500. Value: 2.9
5. Kareem Hunt, Kansas City (vs WAS), Cost $8,500. Value: 2.9

Wide Receiver:

Rishard Matthews honoring his brother who died serving our country.

  1. Rishard Matthews, Tennessee (@HOU), Cost: $4,900. Value: 3.0

Rishard Matthews took everyone by storm last year, yet is still is underrated on a weekly basis in daily fantasy. Granted, Marcus Mariota hasn’t exactly lit it up this year, but the Titans haven’t needed to, Matthews scored a big touchdown last week against a strong Seahawks defense. Texans defense must have been playing one man short last week as Brady put up 5 touchdowns. Look for Matthews to find the end zone again this week.

2. Sterling Shepard, New York Giants (@ TB), Cost $5,000. Value: 2.9
3. Travis Benjamin, Los Angeles Chargers (vs PHI), Cost: 3,900. Value: 2.9
4. Adam Thielen, Minnesota (vs DET), Cost $5,800. Value: 2.8
5. Pierre Garcon, San Francisco (@ ARI), Cost: $5,500. Value: 2.8

Tight End:

“The Outlaw” is going to challenge you to a duel. A Fan Duel. On DraftKings.

  1. Jesse James, Pittsburgh (@ BAL), Cost: $3,000. Value: 4.3

Whenever a player eclipses a value of 3.5, there is one of two things wrong. Either his price or his projection. That being said, “The Outlaw”‘s consensus is 7-9 points, and The Daily Fantasy Aces has him at 13. Even if we had him at 10, his value is *STILL* 3.3 for his cost. Plug and play here. At best he’s a punt and you’ll be able to get some bigger play makers in your lineup with him and a cheap defense. At best, he’s a steal of the week.

2. Coby Fleener, New Orleans (MIA), Cost: $3,400. Value: 3.6
3. Jared Cook, Oakland (@ DEN), Cost: $3,400. Value: 3.6
4. Charles Clay, Buffalo (@ATL), Cost: $3,700. Value: 3.3
5. Eric Ebron, Detroit (@MIN), Cost: $3,100. Value: 3.2
