Top DraftKings Values + Stacks: Week 4

Welcome gamblers, fantasy football players, and magic aficionados on this beautiful, chilly, Autumn morning. My house smells like pumpkin spice and there are fall themed decorations every where. This is my fiancee’s favorite time of the year. But it should be all of your favorite times of the year as well because we are escaping the “Vegas Zone” where gamblers lose the most money because of how weird the first three weeks of the season can be. We act like we know everything, but, truly we don’t know anything. Fear not Jon Snow… winter is coming!

It’s time for our top DraftKings plays, values, and stacks! Plus our Vegas Line picks and teasers.

Why Is Points Per Dollar Important For Daily Fantasy? + Vegas Lines Week 3

This is a topic I wanted to explore last season but never fully explained it. The secret to daily fantasy sports is not just fantasy star player output, but, how do you balance points against cost when building lineups? This is a question every DFS player is faced with every week. What is the first thing you check when you make your lineup? Opponent? Average points per week? Or cost? I check cost, then matchup. Cost is the single most important aspect of daily fantasy in comparison to their points. Through cost, we develop “value” and value is derived from “Points Per Dollar” expected. You can’t get all the best players in the league on your team every week, but you can always get the best values in your lineup every week.

Love & Hate Projections: Week 3

This blog was the creation of my love of statistics and my passion for number crunching and creating my own fantasy sports projections. Over the last 650 projections, I currently hold an advantage over my competitors such as ESPN, Yahoo, RotoGrinders, Fantasy Sharks, and CBS. My closest competition has regularly been ESPN. Starting in 2017 I no longer compare against CBS or Fantasy Sharks due to their projections being regularly worse by significant margins.

Something that has always intrigued me was how my statistics compared to them and I’ve discussed that in previous blog posts. Continue reading

20 Facts To Know About: Week 3

Week 3 is almost here! What an exciting, but oddly peculiar start we have seen to the 2017 season. We watched the Patriots blow a large lead in Week 1, reminiscent of the same rally they had in the Super Bowl. We’ve lost David Johnson for the season, the consensus number 1 selection in drafts across the country. Keenan Allen has played two games and is still healthy. Kareem “The Dream” Hunt has taken us by storm, running for rookie records every where. So with that being said, let’s buckle up and look forward to Week 3 with these 20 Facts You Should Know!

Running Back ADP 2017: Rise and Fall

Ezekiel Elliott, Le’Veon Bell, David Johnson. Who will be fantasy king in 2017?

When people think of fantasy football the overall consensus is that running back is the most valuable position. That’s because quarterbacks and wide receivers are stable over several years in terms of elite names while running backs fluctuate rapidly and with ease every two years. In order to win at fantasy football it is best to have insight into whether or not the running back you’ve circled on your cheatsheet will be the one to bring you glory on Sundays. That’s why we are starting with running backs here today.

MLB DraftKings DFS Picks for Wednesday April 12th, 2017

nats
First things first, The Daily Fantasy Aces are back! I had some minor technical issues with our computer in the middle of the NBA season, and then I started a new job at the end of December, so I decided to stop covering DFS until baseball came back to “reset” and have a break after our successful run at football and basketball. Right now my work schedule is quite busy, so for now, look for articles like this every Wednesday and Thursday. There will be daily coverage of my picks and lineups on our Twitter almost every morning though. Continue reading
